I became instantly obsessed with Micah Scott‘s Zen Photon Garden, an interactive web-based work that allows the user to manipulate rays of light. To begin my experimentation I placed the first line over the light source that resembled a distant sun, or perhaps the sun in our solar system, as observed from a distant planet. I spent the next 3 hours in the Zen Photon Garden deeply immersed in dimly lit landscapes. I explored the outer limits of an imaginary universe, I looked up at the fading sun through tall dark skyscrapers, and woke up in a moonlit field full of sharp black grass.
