Which came first in your life, the science or the art?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Probably art in the form of fantasy. I used to write and tell so many stories as a child.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which sciences relate to your art practice?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Neuroscience, biology, and also more broadly critically looking at scientific methodologies and practices. I am always thinking about how to apply different ways of thinking to broad scientific problems, for instance how do we maintain a sense of desire and curiosity while conducting scientific research? How can we create more of a daily sense of meaning for scientists involved in basic research, whose research might seem most valuable over vast amounts of time, like a hundred or two hundred years? How can we create better aesthetic experiences for human research participants?<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you use to create your artworks?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Mainly video so far. I’ve done a little bit of installation work and radio composition which I would like to explore. In my future I’m definitely envisioning fully designed objects with philosophical functions. <\/span><\/p>\n
